WHO WE ARE
RCCG KING’S THRONE is a family oriented and community-based church. Our lifestyle is fashioned after the word of God and we are consistently working towards equipping everyone and family to become a shining light that brings hope and joy to our community and nation.
This assembly is saddled with the responsibility of raising Christian families that will be firmly rooted in the way of the Lord and then impact their various communities for Christ.
WE BELIEVE IN GOD. WE TEACH THE BIBLE. WE LOVE OUR COMMUNITY. WE DO GREAT THINGS.
We believe in the full authority of Scripture as the inspired Word of God. We believe in the Trinity as God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe that there is only one God, who sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins so that we can have eternal life. We believe there is no other way to obtain salvation or forgiveness for sins, other than through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
Our Mission
The mission of this church is to raise Christian families to be firmly rooted in the way of the Lord and then impact their various communities for Christ.
Our Pastors
Pastor Kola and Pastor Olamide Akinyemi
RCCG King’s Throne started in October 2017 here in Saskatoon under the leadership of Pastor Kola Akinyemi and his wife, Pastor Olamide Akinyemi. By the grace of God, they spearhead and coordinate the drive to fulfilling God’s ultimate goal in this assembly. They are very passionate about the word of God, the zeal to follow His word, and to see God’s word fully manifested in every family. Pastor Kola is an Architect by profession while Pastor Olamide is a Nutritionist and Dietitian by profession. They are blessed with three children who are equally passionate about God.
History of RCCG
Late Rev. Josiah Akindayomi founded the Redeemed Christian Church of God in 1952. The
church has since grown to over 23,000 parishes worldwide and the General Overseer is Pastor
Enoch A. Adeboye.
